The irony of this picture, and of the original photo, is that Dottie is turning her missing eye toward the camera and was actually quite miffed because I had just taken several pictures of the mushroom. Somehow her annoyance is always interpreted, even by me, as "noble dog sitting next to mushroom", but maybe that's just the purity of her nobility shining through.
