Thorns

I think thorns are kind of cool, although I would truly rather be bitten by a medium size python than a rose bush.
I keep the roses in the front yard and the dogs in the backyard. It saves on stitches.

Ouch! but I'll take thorns over snake bites everytime!

Ouch!! Those thorns on roses are as bad as the spines on a cactus.

I've had the dubious pleasure of being bitten by a lot of different critters/plants.

Cactus/roses are by far the worst of the plant kingdom.

Cats can produce a nasty bite, far worse than dogs/snakes. Coming in a close second due to pain is the rodent bite or a parrot. (My caveat here is that I don't handle venemous snakes-that would be awful on an entirely new level).

i like thorns that i can see, but then that's a bit like life...i like the problems i can see ahead of me, not those that jump out and 'bite' me in the bum, or head, or ass...
okay so how did lunch go?

Lunch went well-we were all on good behavior. Mom and Dad both seemed aware of the fact that while it isn't the sort of place THEY would choose, it's one I really like, so they gave it a good shot. And, the food was excellent, which helps things along.

I think they showed some real growth. 6 months ago they would have just detailed all the things they didn't like, and not paid any attention to the things they did like.

I showed some growth too, 6 months ago I would have carried on about how sorry I was this wasn't what they wanted, today I just enjoyed my salmon with mucho gusto!

Thorns do look cool but ouch how they hurt. Course, Bailey packs a pretty mean bite as well.

I have three different cats bite right through my thumbnail. That's the pain that keeps on giving!

I suppose thorns are pretty clear when they say: come closer and you will get scratched.

Humans and pythons, less so.

Pythons are pretty clear too-humans, not so much.
