The poppie is the flower of remembrance for Canadian soldiers... is this what you're alluding to or is this just a coincidence on Yom Hashoah... if so... thank you for your thoughtfulness... if not... I thank God for the entanglement of our thoughts...

Hopper, it was just an entangling, but a nice one.

Wizard of Oz reference-the Wicked Witch poisoned Dorothy with Poppies on her (Dorothy's) way to the Emerald City-but the good Witch caused it to snow and broke the spell.....they got to ride a horse at the Emerald City (my favorite part, even if it was in a buggy)...killed the mean witch accidentally but nonetheless DEAD and then found out it was all a dream anway.

So basically, every time I see a field of poppies (which usually only happens in California) I am compelled to croak....Poison, poison...but soothing to the smell.....poppies....sleep . Since I'm grown I pretty much do it to myself, unless I'm riding down the road with someone who won't mind-then I bust out with it full force.
