I remember when I stopped being a vegetarian after 22 years and the way my family looked at me the first time I ate turkey at Thanksgiving. I chomped on a drumstick and they were aghast!!! It was funny. I still haven't had beef since 1972 though!
We eat pork ribs here in Oklahoma, which I find strange because it's beef country. For some reason, pork is easier on my stomach than beef....but seafood works best for me, lots and lots of seafood!
