Ok, I get it

Man, when a hot water heater goes it leaves an awful mess.  New one is on the way, big check going out the door.  The universe has a most unsubtle way of saying get off your ass or I will get you off your ass.

I get it. I do.  Thank you.  No, REALLY thank you.  You've done enough.  Go away.  Sigh.

I am going to start a new label category-random disasters.

We just replaced our 20 yr old water heater (before it burst) thank goodness. Aren't they expensive, with all the labor, parts etc. I was blown away by the cost!

We have a plumbing issue at our house that I'm always worried about. Houses really are money pits.

you poor girl. for some reason i especially hate cleaning up water.

deb, check the year your busted water heater was installed. they often have a replacement warrantee of 15 years or so. i found that out pleasantly when mine went. it cost me nothing.

happy holidays (i'm singing this to you--can you hear me?)

Hey! Just dropped in and read the subsequent post and had one of those "Huh?" moments. So - here I am catching up. Busted water heater. Disaster. Not a fun way to force a cleanup but I guess the upside is lots of "stuff" now gone and maybe you are feeling lighter for it all.
