I borrowed the skin from an ancient reptile-if you look at the middle cactus, what looks to be a wren hole is really his eye and the light is reflecting off his ocular ridge. The light coming between the second and third cactus was a lucky accident of layer and opacity, but now that I understand how it happened, I'll be using it more often.
