Molly

I let Mom name Molly, uh, Molly. She's too much of a chunk to be a Vixen, and Freckles sounds like a boy name. Mom loves naming my dogs, even if she won't admit it.

Deb - she's gorgeous - from what I can see and I love the name. I always think that you have to be able to yell the dog's name out the back door - and "freckles" sounds a bit weird yelled at the top of your lungs. Congrads on the new puppy!!!

The Irish name (feminine) for Freckles was Breck-but that sounded awfully mannish to me too.

Molly is a much softer dog than Moon-I was afraid to bring in a really high drive female dog because the girls mix it up moreso than the boys, and the size difference worried me. Spaying does not ratchet down a high drive/high dominance female always, and I want them to be able to interact as a pack.

Oliver got a new bag of craps today, so he's all lovey dovey.

She's a border collie-a dark red-but will probably lighten up in the summer. Right now, she looks more chocolate colored to me and she doesn't mind at all that I have to keep kissing her freckle face.

(Moonie is a big snuggler too, but he's very manly and wouldn't want that spread over the internet.....)

I've been waiting for this post!!
Molly is a great name. I loved "Vixen" too but it's sweet that you let your mom name her.

Oh that puppy breath. I'm so jealous ( but very happy for you!)

Craps for Oliver and you! Let me know if you like them as little frozen treats. I love them in the summer.

What a houseful of love you have there Debra Kay!
