HAW....ahhhhhh hahhahahhaaaaaaaaaaaa

Apparently my human servant has her limits.  I was cross with her, and bit her on the head a few times and just generally informed her that the kitchen belonged to me and I did not appreciate her allowing the Slims to hang out with us.....and she very politely took me to the back room until I settled down a bit.

Of course, her energy has been low lately, and when one's energy is low, someone else with higher energy must fill the void.  But I must have gotten carried away with the void filling.

In addition to the Slims being fed and pampered in MY kitchen, she bought these pellet things and has cut back on my seeds and such.  Nuts and Berries!  Who eats pellets?  I went on a hunger strike, I did. and no one cared.  She has even cut back on my peanuts and pignolias.  What's next, Grape rationing?  Sakes alive, it's no wonder I was cross.

When I'm cross I stomp around and click my beak-it goes SNAP SNAP-a fierce display indeed.  I bet you'd shiver in your own feathers if you saw it.

There it is, my true confession-I'm not a saint, but neither are you and we're still friends.....hahhahhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa    oooooooooooooooooooooh-I'm such a funny bird!   HAW y'all.......love, Oliver the parrot

OLIVER, Oliver, oliver. You are a naughty bird picking on your mistress when she is trying her best to care for you. You must ignore the Slims and give your mistress a caress not a nip. Haw anyway.

Waw waw waaaaaaaaaaaa Ignore the Slims? They are everywhere. THEY even have their own door that leads into the backyard and they can come and go as they please. Silly twits. I've been making yelping sounds and shouting NO NO NO SHADDUP at them, letting them know how I really feel.

A bird has to keep the other animals in their place, next thing you know the Slims will be asking for their own blog.....hhhmph, maybe when they learn to talk (like when hell freezes over) muwhwwahhhhahhhhaaaaaaaaaaaa

Why "Slims" Oliver?

Mim-I think the first dog Oliver knew was named Slim-so he calls all dogs "Slims", since he hasn't mastered the name vs. name of thing. He knows slim is a bad dog-he yelps and howls and then shouts "BAD DOG" but when he is referring to a specific dog, he always calls it Slim...but Bad Dog seems to be a concept about punishment and Slim seems to be the concept about the animal itself. (Oliver is napping so I thought I'd answer for him)

oh the way you fill the void, Oliver, is so amazing!

Deb - thanks for answering for Oliver, I'm sure he'd appreciate it but perhaps would come up with an existential answer about the name of a thing vs a name - something that the rest of us need to give thought to in this time of gifts..and things...and names...
I'm rambling!
