Succulent Cactus Monday!

It's most mandela-like, isn't it?

This has little to do with CM, but I've got a doctor's appointment this morning and I've had the flu, so there has been some puking. I really hope she'll adopt a let's wait and see attitude and not remove any fluid from my lap band. It's really been a tough few weeks and I think my eating issues have more to do with lots of snot and runoff due first to crying then to a cold....then the stomach flu hit. Ok, not eating issues, puking issues.

I really think this fill can be salvaged with a little extra liquids, mushy food and some band babying for a few more days, but I will do what the doctor says.

jeez, why did I choose to read this while I'm eating my yogurt.
I hope doc can figure out a solution to make you feel better. How awful to feel sick like that.
Beautiful succulent shot though!

Poor baby - this has been a tough coupla weeks. Take it easy, be good, be a good patient. Pastina is always the thing in our house for stomach ills.

We agreed to give it another week. (Sorry about the graphic language lolo...). I love that the lapband is adjustable, but I was at a perfect level when disaster struck, I've lost weight since then, so it just seems counterintuitive to take any out.

feel better, debra kay. maybe this is your body's way of telling you to care for yourself first this holiday season.

The "holiday" season part is going to be very low key-maybe a meal at my Mom and Dad's, some bowling with friends after New Years. I did take Mom to her Water Aerobics Christmas party....LOL. I'm in that strange spot where I'm truly not depressed, (really) but just can't quite work up merriment either and I'm not going to fake it.

I'm more excited about some upcoming plans than the holidays, but saying that too often sounds like a scroogy thing, so I'm just quietly excited for now.

I have a very fun visual in my head of the water aerobics Christmas party! And I Love how you say you're truly not depressed but can't quite work up merriment either. I so so so get that!
