Another Sticky Subject

Jim Wakeland took this picture on Monday, and I couldn't wait till NEXT Monday, and it's not really a cactus anyone. I've never seen a live porcupine in the wild. I guess I could have waited till Wednesday for Animal Wednesday, but Oliver does not like to share.

ooh lovely photo. I've only seen one in the wild and that was right after is threw it's stickers into my dog Parker's face. Boy did he yelp...while the little porky waddled away.

Winderful! I think a porcupine IS an evolved cactus.

A bloggy adventure awaits! Pack your bags and meet us at the train station in Paris!

I love seeing animals in their natural state, although Porky's and skunks can be hazardous to dogs.

What a handsome animal. I am glad you didn't wait to show us. I have only seen porcupines two times in the wild. They are amazing creatures.

LOL. Jim is a retired guy in South Texas (married) who has a dog that is related to Moon and Molly. We stay in touch via a yahoo group that is set up for the dog owners. It's kind of cool-like a canine extended family.

I was visiting at the breeder when his Tasha was still crawling around with her eyes closed-and she was my favorite even then. Her Mom, Swizzle, is Moon's Grandmom.

Not everyone who buys a Lockeye or Blastoff or Fay Amos dog is on the list-but those who do are like me, fanatical about their dogs and eager to trade stories and hear how the siblings/relatives are doing, debate the roles gender plays in it all, and gab about nurture vs. nature.
