When my sense of humour returns after illness or injury, I know I must be on the mend, even when it doesn't really feel like it.Marionhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00607220451457829777noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-166466078612863791.post-90199414560349807322010-02-05T20:10:15.305-06:002010-02-05T20:10:15.305-06:00well, at least you have a working toilet now. In our old house we had an old outhouse off the barn, and nice one seater - and it was a comfort to know it was there if the electric went and we had no water (wells in our town). And this was a real fancy outhouse, as you didn't have to go outside to use it, you could go thru the big house, the kitchen the back house and then the barn.
Glad you are feeling a bit better debsMimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12409455543895086283noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-166466078612863791.post-30048330738638136302010-02-05T14:31:37.048-06:002010-02-05T14:31:37.048-06:00I think it is both laughable and cryable.
I reall...I think it is both laughable and cryable.

I really felt alone when I asked for one small bit of help (hear the poor me creep in) but you know, people are imperfect and sometimes they forget. And I have hid (as I usually do) how sick I've been and how much pain I'm having.

I've been banged up before-and having people talk about how much pain you are in often (for me) makes the pain worse.

Mom and Dad are still caught back two weeks ago in the whole hospital name fiasco and I don't have the patience or grace left in me to hear that lecture again. It always concludes with "that is not a real hospital and you probably have a broken back."

Good times.

I do not have a broken back, I am familiar (all too) with soft tissue injuries and they just have to work themselves loose.

BUT, I will be putting in place more plans, features for dog feeding, etc. when I'm up and around. The pack has had some troubles and politics of it's own while I've been down for the count, and we are working on that too.Debra Kayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13455047894767524091noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-166466078612863791.post-36257018233774705402010-02-05T13:39:52.579-06:002010-02-05T13:39:52.579-06:00i am not sure whether to laugh or cry.i am not sure whether to laugh or cry.soulbrushhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16879115279499153124noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-166466078612863791.post-2979178847717809122010-02-05T13:37:54.260-06:002010-02-05T13:37:54.260-06:00I love it when things fix themselves.
